In the months leading up to Seminar, our Member Services Department receives a range of requests for Seminar-related information. We are putting together a list of FAQS to address these issues. Following are the top two transportation questions about ASIS 2009. Take note!
Question: What airports are closest to Anaheim and Orange County?
Answer: Four major airports – John Wayne/Orange County Airport (SNA), Los Angeles Airport (LAX), Long Beach Airport (LGB), and Ontario International Airport (ONT) service the Orange County area with more than 2,500 flights daily. Get details on airport drive times and approximate transportation costs.
Question: Are there shuttle buses to and from the Anaheim Convention Center to the hotels?
Answer: If you book your lodging through the ASIS Housing Bureau, you will receive a free shuttle bus pass ($50 value) for the length of your stay.

ASIS 2009 to host Law Enforcement/Military Appreciation Day
Active law enforcement or military professionals will be granted free admission on Sept. 23. Attendees must register onsite, in Hall E of the convention center. Law enforcement or military identification with photo is required. The complimentary pass includes admission to educational programs, the exhibit floor and the keynote address by Condoleezza Rice.

Condoleezza Rice to keynote ASIS 2009
As Secretary of State and National Security Advisor for George W. Bush, Condoleezza Rice pioneered a policy of transformational diplomacy, and heralded the formation of new global governments based on democratic principles. At Wednesday morning’s keynote address, Rice will share compelling stories of her extraordinary experiences and offer a sweeping look at global affairs.
